Ms. Provosty attended St. Scholastica Academy in Covington, La. for High School and St. Margaret Mary in Slidell, La. for Elementary and Junior High. She received her Bachelor's in Music Education with concentration in Voice and Piano from Loyola University, New Orleans, and is currently working to attain her Masters in Music Education from the University of Colorado in Boulder. 

 



Bio

Ms. Provosty hails from the wonderful city of New Orleans. She was highly influenced by the city's love of good food, good music and colorful people. As a child she studied classical piano through elementary, junior high and high school participating in various competitions and performances. She attended the Brevard Music Center for young musicians in 1999 and 2000.

After graduation she received her Bachelor's of Music Education from the highly esteemed School of Music at Loyola University. She is currently working on attaining her Masters in Music Education from the University of Colorado in Boulder.  

Ms. Provosty has been working with Omar D. Blair since 2006, teaching Kindergarten through 8th grade general music. She has built up a fantastic recorder program for 3rd and 4th grade as well as an All American Music History, World Music, Percussion Ensemble and Rock Band classes for 7th and 8th grade.
