District Advisory Committee for Emerging Bilingual Scholars

Invite Families to the September ELA DAC Meeting
Invite your school ELA (English Language Acquisition) families to attend the English Language Acquisition District Advisory Committee (ELA DAC). The ELA DAC – which will take place Tuesday, 9/24, 9:30-11:30 am. at the New Hope Baptist Church, 3701 Colorado Blvd. – is an opportunity for families to learn about ELA Program and Services and community resources available at the Mexican Consulate in Denver and to provide feedback about how Title I funds should be spent in parent engagement activities. Invite a las familias de su escuela ELA (Adquisición del Idioma Inglés) a asistir al Comité Asesor del Distrito de Adquisición del Idioma Inglés (ELA DAC). First Public Meetings Scheduled in Search for New Superintendent

 
The evening of August 23, the Board of Education announced the next steps in its search for a new superintendent, including the first public meetings to gather input from the community.
“We are committed to finding the best, most qualified candidate to lead the district,” said Board Member Carrie Olson. “We want to meet with as many students and educators, school communities, community organizations, nonprofits and business leaders, registered neighborhood organizations, and faith groups as possible. We want to hear from you and we value your input.”
