Welcome to Ms. Laurx's Class

 

Hello ODB Families! 

 

I am Joey Laurx. I graduated from the University of Missouri and got my degree in Elementary Education. This is my second year teaching 5th grade at ODB and I am so excited about it! I am orginally from Aurora, Illinois, which is a suburb outside of Chicago. My family still lives there so I visit often. I have a golden retriever named Oliver. I decided to move to Colorado last summer because of how beautiful it is and everything there is to do here. I have absolutely loved it so far! This past year I got my Master's in Educational Leadership through the University of Missouri and am currently working on my doctorate of education at the University of Northern Colorado. I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade at ODB, and I am so excited to get to know your scholars!
